About Azmat Khan

Azmat Khan was born on March 16, 1986, in the village of Sanjliyala, located in Tehsil Khanpur, District Haripur, to Malik Mohabbat Awan.

He received his primary education from the Government Primary School Sanjliyala in his village. He completed his matriculation from Government High School Chhajjian, which has now been upgraded to Government Higher Secondary School Chhajjian.

Education

Academic Education

Alongside his religious studies, Azmat Khan also pursued formal academic education. He completed his Intermediate in 2007 from Government National College Sharafabad near Jail Chowrangi, Karachi. He later earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 2009 from the same college, with examinations conducted by the University of Karachi.

Afterward, based on Darjah Sadsah, he passed four compulsory papers and obtained an equivalent BA degree from the Federal Urdu University. He then completed MA in Arabic in 2011 from the Federal Urdu University. In 2016, he secured first position in MA Mass Communication from the Federal Urdu University and was awarded a Gold Medal for his outstanding academic performance.

Currently, he is pursuing MPhil in Mass Communication from the University of Karachi.

Religious Education

Afterward, following the wishes of his parents, he pursued Islamic religious education and joined the well-known religious institution Jamia Abdullah Ibn Masood in Haripur, where he studied the Holy Quran and the first level of Dars-e-Nizami (Darjah Ula).

Later, he continued his studies at Jamia Maarif-ul-Quran located in Madni Masjid Hasan Abdal, where he completed Darjah Sania Aamma. After completing the initial stages of his religious education in these institutions, Azmat Khan moved to Karachi.

He completed the early stages of higher religious studies at Jamia Rahmania Korangi, a branch of Jamia Uloom-ul-Islamia Binori Town, and later studied Darjah Khamisa and Sadsah at Jamia Yousufia Binoria, taking the examinations under the Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabia Pakistan.

Later, he obtained the Shahadat-ul-Alamiyah degree in 2011 from Madrasah Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa (RA) located at Makkah Masjid, Muhammad Ali Society, Karachi.
